Book of Thoughts of Fidel Castro Presented In China
The celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Cuba and China, on Monday in Beijing, included the launching of a selecti0+n of thoughts of Fidel Castro, a work acknowledged as evidence of the common will to further strengthen these ties.
The Chinese-language book was presented at the Institute of Latin American Studies of the Academy of Social Sciences of China (CASS), with the presence of Communist Party officials, the Foreign Ministry, researchers and ambassadors from Latin American countries, among others, reports Prensa Latina.
By highlighting the contribution of "Fidel Castro Ruz. Selection of Thoughts" at the above commemoration and the development of bilateral ties, Li Shenming, vice president of CASS, said, "it has a very important theoretical and practical meaning" and considered the ideas of the leader of the Cuban Revolution as a valuable treasure for their nation and for humanity.
He noted that practice requires a thorough consideration of Marxist and socialist experiences of different countries in search for essential theoretical progress and called for it even more strongly in the context of the international financial crisis, insisting on the usefulness of this selection.
Dr. Song Xiaoping, who spoke on behalf of the translators of the work, by Professor Salomón Susi Sarfati, said he believed that through its great vitality, the ideology of the Cuban Revolution leader will be widely read.
For his part, the charge d'affaires at the Embassy of Cuba, Mario Alzugaray, said the text has a special significance both for its content and the historical moment of its publication, referring to the events associated with the start of diplomatic relations between the two countries, September 28, 1960.
He explained that the 293-page book offers the opportunity of finding, in a summary and ordered form, the main aspects and themes of the thoughts of Fidel Castro, recalling that his ideas remain absolutely valid.
As we know, the leader of the Cuban Revolution remains active, writing his Reflections and maintaining awareness of the problems facing humanity and life on planet Earth, he added.
The ceremony acknowledged the work of the institutions that made this collection of aphorisms possible in Chinese. In addition to these, appreciation was extended to the Center for the Study of World Socialism and the Documentation of Social Sciences Publishing House, among others.

Presentan en China libro sobre
pensamientos de Fidel Castro
La celebración del aniversario 50 de las relaciones
diplomáticas entre Cuba y China sumó el lanzamiento de una selección de
pensamientos de Fidel Castro, obra reconocida como prueba de la voluntad
común de continuar fortaleciendo esos vínculos, reporta Prensa Latina.
El libro en idioma chino fue presentado en el Instituto de Estudios de
América Latina de la Academia de Ciencias Sociales de China (ACSCh), con
la asistencia de funcionarios del Partido Comunista, la cancillería,
investigadores y embajadores de países latinoamericanos, entre otros.
Al resaltar la contribución de "Fidel Castro Ruz. Selección de
Pensamientos" a la referida conmemoración y al desarrollo de los nexos
bilaterales, Li Shenming, vicepresidente de la ACSCh, afirmó que "tiene
un significado teórico y práctico muy importante" y consideró el ideario
del líder de la Revolución cubana una riqueza valiosa tanto para su
nación como para la Humanidad.
Señaló que la práctica impone estudiar a fondo las experiencias
marxistas y socialistas de los distintos países en la búsqueda del
esencial progreso teórico y llamó a hacerlo con más fuerza en el
contexto de la crisis financiera internacional al insistir en la
utilidad de esta selección.
El doctor Song Xiaoping, quien habló en nombre de los traductores de la
obra del profesor Salomón Susi Sarfati, dijo estar convencido de que por
su gran vitalidad, el ideario del líder de la Revolución cubana se va a
difundir ampliamente.
Por su parte, el encargado de negocios a.i. de la embajada de Cuba,
Mario Alzugaray, expresó que el texto tiene una trascendencia especial
tanto por su contenido como por el momento histórico de su publicación,
en referencia a la efeméride asociada al inicio de las relaciones
diplomáticas entre los dos países, el 28 de septiembre de 1960.
Explicó que el libro de 293 páginas brinda la posibilidad de encontrar
de manera resumida y ordenada las principales facetas y temáticas del
pensamiento de Fidel Castro, al recordar que sus ideas conservan
absoluta vigencia y validez.
Como sabemos, el líder de la Revolución cubana se mantiene en activo,
escribiendo sus Reflexiones y haciendo conciencia sobre los problemas
que afectan a la Humanidad y a la propia vida en el planeta Tierra,
añadió.
En la ceremonia se reconoció la labor de las instituciones que hicieron
posible esta compilación de aforismos en idioma chino. Además de las
mencionadas, el agradecimiento fue extensivo al Centro de Estudios sobre
el Socialismo Mundial y la Casa Editorial de Documentación de Ciencias
Sociales, entre otras.
