ISIS AND AL QAEDA ARE THE SAME THING By Manuel E. Yepe A CubaNews translation. Edited by Walter Lippmann. A key element of propaganda supporting Washington and NATO’s plans aimed at overthrowing the Syrian government and its democratically-elected President is to label the Syrian province of al-Raqqa as an ISIS base for operations. A video-supported article released by the Wall Street Journal on "how is life within the ISIS base of operations", describes the organization as a shadowy group which came out of nowhere, attacked and captured the Syrian city of al-Raqqa, and made the city its “base of operations”. While it is true that al-Raqqa was attacked and occupied by ISIS, their real base is not in Syria nor anywhere in Iraq, or in any other country in the Middle East. The purpose of placing ISIS in Syria is none other than giving the United States a pretext to attack and occupy that country; an objective that has been made difficult by a number of factors, mainly the objections from Russia and China. Washington aims to overcome these obstacles with the stratagem of attacking a common enemy that is of its own making and is under its control. Since as early as 2007, the United States has been arming, funding and supporting the Muslim Brotherhood and various terrorist organizations with the purpose of overthrowing the government of Syria, fighting against Hezbollah in Lebanon, and undermining Iran's influence in the region. Billions of dollars in cash have been channeled into the hands of terrorist groups; many of which were created as in a digital war game. Others have emerged though spontaneous generation or as products of the interests of other powers in the region, or of European powers with geopolitical interests in the Middle East. ISIS was housed in a territory controlled by NATO. It was armed and financed by American CIA agents with cash and weapons provided by the Saudis, Qataris and NATO. The Americans and the British provided "non-lethal aid", including the means of transportation. The sectarian nature of the genocide to come was foretold by current and former Pentagon officials interviewed in 2007 by Pulitzer prize-winning veteran journalist Seymour Hersch when he wrote that: "To undermine Iran, which is predominantly Shiite, the Bush administration has decided to ... reconfigure its priorities in the Middle East. In Lebanon, the administration has cooperated with the Saudi government, which is Sunni, in clandestine operations intended to weaken Hezbollah, the Shiite organization backed by Iran. The United States has also participated in clandestine operations against Iran and its ally Syria. A by-product of these activities has been the strengthening of the Sunni extremist groups which espouse a militant vision of Islam and are hostile to Washington and sympathetic to Al Qaeda." ISIS, Islamic State, or any way it may be called, is the product of a NATO and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) conspiracy. Its origin dates back to 2007, when the authorities of the United States and Saudi Arabia tried to ignite a sectarian war throughout the region to purge the arc of the Iran's Middle East influence which extends from its borders, through Syria and Iraq, to Lebanon and the Mediterranean coast. We could argue that the operational base of ISIS is in Langley, Virginia, in the United States, and their bases of support are in Washington DC, London and other capitals of NATO countries which provide funding, weapons as well as having influence on certain aspects of their strategies and tactics. ISIS is a creation of NATO, and is kept under the control of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. At the same time, we must keep in mind that ISIS, Al Nusra, Al-Qaeda, Islamic Emirate of Iraq (IEI), the Islamic Emirate of Iraq and Levant (IEIL or ISIL), Al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI), and the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) are all the same thing, depending on the denomination of the tactical circumstances at the time, their internal political disputes, or the different western political influences. It is also essential to remember that al-Qaeda was created by the West in the 1980s in order to drive the Soviets out of Afghanistan, and to fulfill other geopolitical goals in the Middle East and the globe. The most memorable of these was was undoubtedly its leading role in the heinous terrorist act of September 11, 2001, in New York and Washington D.C. October 8, 2014.

Yepe Una pieza clave en la propaganda que apoya a los planes de Washington y la OTAN encaminados a derrocar al gobierno sirio y a su Presidente democráticamente electo, es etiquetar a la provincia siria de al-Raqqa como base de operaciones de Estado Islámico. Un artículo, apoyado con un video, publicado por el Wall Street Journal de Nueva York sobre, “cómo se vive dentro de de la base del EI”, describe a esa organización como un oscuro grupo que apareció de la nada, atacó y tomó la ciudad siria de al-Raqqa y la convirtió en "su base de operaciones." Aunque sea cierto que al-Raqqa fue atacada y ocupada por el EI, su base real no está en Siria ni en cualquier lugar de Irak u otro país en el Medio Oriente. El propósito de domiciliar a Estado Islámico en Siria no es otro que propiciar a Estados Unidos un pretexto para agredir y ocupar ese país, objetivo que se le ha hecho difícil por diversos de factores entre los cuales han pesado sobremanera las objeciones de Rusia y China. A estos obstáculos, Washington pretende superponerse mediante la estratagema de atacar a un enemigo de todos que es de su propia creación y está bajo su control. Desde tan temprano como 2007 Estados Unidos ha estado armando, financiando y apoyando la Hermandad Musulmana y a diversas organizaciones terroristas para derrocar al gobierno de Siria, luchar contra Hezbolá en el Líbano y socavar la influencia de Irán en la región. Miles de millones de dólares en efectivo ha canalizado a manos de grupos terroristas, muchos de los cuales ha creado como en un juego de guerra digital. Otros han surgido como por generación espontánea o producto de intereses de otras potencias regionales o europeas con intereses geopolíticos en el Medio Oriente. Estado Islámico fue albergado en territorio controlado por la OTAN, armado y financiado por agentes de la CIA estadounidense con dinero en efectivo y armas aportadas por los sauditas, qataríes y la OTAN. A cargo de los estadounidenses y británicos quedó la "ayuda no letal", incluyendo los medios de transporte. La naturaleza sectaria del genocidio que se avecinaba fue predicho por funcionarios actuales y retirados del Pentágono entrevistados en 2007 por el veterano periodista Seymour Hersch ganador del premio Pulitzer de periodismo, cuando escribió que: “Para debilitar a Irán, que es predominantemente chiita, la administración Bush ha decidido… reconfigurar sus prioridades en el Medio Oriente. En el Líbano, la administración ha cooperado con el gobierno de Arabia Saudita, que es sunita, en operaciones clandestinas destinadas a debilitar a Hezbollah, la organización chiita que está respaldada por Irán. Estados Unidos también ha participado en operaciones clandestinas contra Irán y su aliado, Siria. Subproducto de estas actividades ha sido el afianzamiento de los grupos extremistas sunitas que propugnan una visión militante del Islam y son hostiles a Estados Unidos y simpatizan con Al Qaeda”. Estado Islámico, o como los queramos llamar, es el producto de una conspiración de la OTAN y el Consejo de cooperación del Golfo (GCC) cuyo origen remonta a 2007, cuando las autoridades de Estados Unidos y Arabia Saudita intentaron encender una guerra sectaria en toda la región para purgar el arco de Medio Oriente de la influencia de Irán que se extiende, desde sus fronteras, a través de Siria e Irak hasta el Líbano y la costa del Mediterráneo. Podría decirse que la base operacional de EI está en Langley, Virginia, en Estados Unidos, y sus bases de sustentación en Washington, D.C., Londres, y en otras capitales de países de la OTAN que proporcionan los fondos, las armas e influyen en ciertos aspectos de sus estrategias y tácticas. Es una creación de la OTAN, que mantiene bajo control de la organización atlántica. Pero es preciso tener en cuenta que Estado Islámico (EI), Al Nusra, Al-Qaeda, Emirato islámico de Irak (IEI), Emirato Islámico de Irak y el Levante (IEIL o ISIL), Al Qaeda en Irak (AQI), y Estado Islámico en Irak y Siria (ISIS) son la misma cosa, dependiendo la denominación de las circunstancias tácticas en cada momento, disputas políticas internas o disímiles influencias políticas occidentales. También es básico recordar que al-Qaeda fue creado por Occidente en la década de 1980 con el fin de sacar a los soviéticos de Afganistán y otras metas geopolíticas en el Medio Oriente y globales, la más memorable de las cuales fue sin dudas su participación protagónica en el atroz acto terrorista de septiembre 11 de 2001, en New York y Washington D.C.
