It is a wide
selection of my articles, published between January 2010 and March 2014,
on everyday events in today's Cuba which together help to understand the
scope of the Cuban revolutionary process from a more intimate viewpoint
not often offered in the media.
Many of the articles are chronicles of the political events in my
country, written with absolute candor and the utmost possible
objectivity, for an author who is firmly steeped in the ideas that gave
birth and continue to nurture the Cuban revolution, initiated by Carlos
Manuel de Céspedes in 1868 and led by Fidel and Raúl Castro for the last
sixty years.
There are also analyses of international issues not directly connected
with Cuba. Most of those deal with topics of the United States, Latin
America and the Caribbean. All the articles were written and published
during a particularly significant period for Cuba because it was a stage
of the process that tested the capacity of the Cuban revolution to
survive without its inspiration and main leader at the helm.
The book has been published by PUBLICIA, and is available worldwide both
in digital and printed formats.

Crónicas Cubanas
Es una amplia selección de mis trabajos periodísticos publicados entre
enero de 2010 y marzo de 2014 acerca de acontecimientos de la vida
cotidiana en la Cuba actual que, en su conjunto, sirven para aquilatar
las dimensiones del proceso revolucionario cubano desde una óptica más
íntima que la que habitualmente brindan los medios.
Muchos de estos trabajos son crónicas del acontecer político de mi
país contadas con absoluta sinceridad y la máxima objetividad que
admite el pensamiento de un autor firmemente incrustado en las ideas
que han dado origen y siguen dando vida a la Revolución Cubana, la que
nació con Carlos Manuel de Céspedes en 1868 y ha tenido a su frente en
los últimos sesenta años a Fidel y a Raúl Castro. Hay también análisis
periodísticos acerca de asuntos internacionales no ligados
directamente con Cuba, la mayor parte de ellos tratan temas sobre
Estados Unidos, América Latina y el Caribe. La totalidad de estos
escritos fueron realizados y publicados en un período particularmente
importante para Cuba porque es una etapa del proceso que puso a prueba
la capacidad de supervivencia de la Revolución cubana sin su
inspirador y guía principal al frente.
El libro ha sido impreso por la editorial PUBLICIA y ya ha sido puesto
